Holistic therapy

Individual holistic therapy/coaching  - A session starts with a conversation about what you want to work on. Together, we look at what you need and in what way. We work with your consciousness and subconscious through conversations, visualisation or creative exercises and constellations.

During an intake interview Together, we explore your request for help and often more clarity emerges about what you need. If there is a click, I will be happy to guide you further. Should another form of counselling be a better fit, I will refer you to another solution.

Duration - A session lasts an hour or longer if desired, to have enough time for your story and questions.

My rate - €95 euros per hour. Student rate on request. For coaching programmes for business, I apply a different tailor-made rate, which I can send in a quote.

A holistic therapist looks at psychological, social, physical and often also spiritual factors. You can seek help with mild complaints such as stress, burn-out, relationship problems, grief, insecurity or getting stuck in work or life, which do not involve a severe psychiatric disorder. No referral is needed, there are no waiting lists, but usually no reimbursement from health insurance either.

And a regular psychotherapist or psychologist often treats with evidence-based protocol-based methods, diagnoses mental health problems and disorders according to DSM. There is more focus on mental processes and deeper psychological problems. This requires a referral, there are waiting lists, but there is partial reimbursement from health insurance.

You discover this by experiencing it yourself. In an intake interview, we explore together what is going on with you and whether my way of working suits you. Holistic psychosocial therapy/coaching matches your pace and needs. There is no fixed step-by-step plan. When you notice that you feel heard, gain more insight and experience better contact with yourself and your body, these are often signs that this coaching works for you. Should it turn out that another form of help is more appropriate, then I will think along with you.

A 1.5-hour session offers you a safe and quiet space in which you are central. We start with what is on your mind at that moment and what is on your mind. Through conversation, attention to your body and your feelings, together we explore what needs to be seen and felt. The session proceeds at your pace and is tailored to your needs. You don't have to perform anything. Anything that presents itself is welcome.

Sometimes people fear that in therapy they will open up feelings or memories they can't get out of. These are very normal feelings. In my counselling, we make sure you can feel and process step by step, in a safe and nice way that suits you. Know that hiding or ignoring your problems or old wounds is much more painful than processing them.

The number of sessions depends on your help request, experiences and what emerges in the process. Some people notice a difference after a few sessions, for others it takes longer. During the intake interview, we look together at what suits you. The most important thing is that, step by step, you experience more insight, relaxation and connection with yourself.
